WIRE TO WIRE!!!!

Robert Thompson came out swinging and never stopped until he struck the final knock out blow with an even-par 72 for a total of 9-under par 207.

It wasn't without a challenge from the final pairing however, as Gary Trivisonno and John Ross finished just one stroke back at 208. The 14th hole provided the drama with a three stroke swing when Trivisonno covered up a Thompson double-bogey with a bomb birdie. He then settled in nicely to holf off the wolves by going 1 under over the next four holes to claim his first victory with the UGGOA.

With $6200 dollars in his pocket, Thompson becomes the fourth winner in as many weeks on tour.

The UGGOA now moves on to the meat of the season and promises to provide the very best Senior Golf in the Nation.
