Thompson Unstoppable in Texas!!!

These were the words of fellow competitor Kevin Dillen when he saw the leaderboard today. Robert Thompson Follwed his 68 with a 6-under par 66 to take a one stroke lead into the final round of the LASCO Plantation Championship.

Thompson made the turn at 5 under par and actually missed a 3 foot birdie putt that could have had him at 30 for the front nine. Not to be outdone Jim Woodward fired the low score of the day with an 8-under par 64. Close behind Thompson are Chris Tucker and Ron Schroeder, who sit one and two strokes back respectively.

With the heat and humidity settling into South Texas, The Sienna Plantation Golf Club offers players a great opportunity to go low. The Final Round starts @ 8:00 a.m. on Friday the 23rd.
