It's The Texas Two-Step for Thompson

Robert Thompson can't wait for the next loop through Texas. He shot a total of 21-under for 108 holes to sweep the Texas Swing. His 12-under par performance this week also makes him the first two-time Champion of the UGGOA.

Thompson outlasted Chris Tucker and his former college teammate Ron Schroeder, by shooting a smooth 2-under par 70. It wasn't without a challenge however, as Schroeder actually had the lead through seven holes of the final round. But when Schroeder stumbled on 8, losing a ball right of the difficult par 5, Thompson responded by birdieing 3 straight holes and never looked back.

Under sunny skies, the greens firmed and the fairways rolled making scoring difficult. The 6800 yard Sienna Plantation was a gracious host and the UGGOA hopes to return again for more low scores.
