CLARK SHOOTS STRAIGHT AT LONGBOW

Joe Clark Jr. completed a wire to wire victory with a solid 68 to edge out 3 time UGGOA runner-up Robin Freeman. This was Clark's first victory on the UGGOA circuit and it was done on some of the fastest greens in the history of the Tour.

"These are the fastest greens I have ever played on next to Oakmont", Tour Veteran Dave Rummels was overheard saying. The greens ran at least 13 on the stimp meter and only got faster on the slopes.

The Longbow Open showcased the strongest field to date and included tour pros like Dave Rummells, John Jacobs, Jeff Hart and Robin Freeman. When asked how he felt about his victory, Clark stated "I am very proud and humbled to have competed and won against such a fine field."
